A love of slow travel, two brand new VW Transporters, and a simple promise: vans we would be happy to hire ourselves.

Our story

It started with a love of slow travel. For years we explored the UK and Europe in our own campervan, and we kept running into the same gap: plenty of people wanted trips like ours, but owning a van, with the cost and the complexity, kept it out of reach.

So in 2024 we founded T.C. Campers with brand new VW Transporter vans. We set out to build premium campervans for real journeys, and we chose standards over speed. Every decision came back to one question: would we be happy hiring this campervan ourselves?

The first booking was a leap of trust, and it set the tone. In our first year we became an award-winning hire company, with 100% five-star reviews and travellers booking again.

We do more than hand over the keys. We plan routes, recommend campsites, help first timers find their feet, and stay reachable throughout your trip.

Phil looks after the vans and the build standards, and keeps everything running behind the scenes. If something needs sorting, he sorts it.
