The short version
We keep this simple. There are two kinds of cookie here: the ones that keep the site working, which are always on, and functional ones, which stay off until you say yes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell anything about you.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These make the site work and remember the choices you make here. They need no permission because the site cannot do its job without them.
- Remembering your cookie choice, so we do not ask again every visit.
- Remembering that you closed a pop-up, so it stays closed.
- The booking calendars: on our booking page and each campervan's page, the live calendar of open dates and prices loads because it is the reason you opened that page. They are provided by our booking system, Q-Book, which may set a short-lived session cookie while the calendar is open. They are essential to that service.
- The gift voucher shop: on the gift vouchers page, the shop loads from our booking system, Q-Book, because buying a voucher is what that page is for. Q-Book may set cookies that route your visit to the same server while you buy.
These are small notes stored in your browser, on this site only. Clearing your browser storage removes them, and the banner will simply ask you again.
Functional (off until you accept)
These add helpful extras that are not essential, so we switch them on only if you accept.
- Live chat: our chat assistant, provided by GoHighLevel, so you can message us from any page. If you choose essential only, the chat does not load at all, and nothing is requested from it.
- Our reviews badge: when we show it, the verified reviews badge in the footer comes from our booking system, Q-Book, which sets cookies to route your visit. It is a nice extra rather than something you asked for, so it loads only if you accept.
If we ever add anything else in this category, such as visitor analytics, it goes here and stays off until you accept.
Changing your mind
Use here, or the same link in the footer of any page, to bring the banner back and change your choice whenever you like. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time.
