This page is a DRAFT. The summary below is written to be read; the full policy beneath is carried from T.C. Campers Ltd’s own privacy policy and organised for the web. It awaits T.C. Campers’ sign-off against their source document before this page is published.
The short version
- We collect the details we need to hire you a campervan and meet insurance and legal duties: your contact details, driving licence and ID, and your booking.
- We use them to run your hire, verify your identity and eligibility, take payment, and (where you agree) keep in touch. We never sell your data.
- We share only with the people who make a hire work, our insurance broker and insurers, our IT, booking and payment providers, and authorities where the law requires.
- If you fill in a Facebook or Instagram lead form, that is Meta collecting it so we can contact you about your enquiry. You can opt out of marketing any time.
- We keep your data as long as we need it, in most cases 7 years for legal, insurance and accounting reasons, then no longer.
- You have the right to see, correct, erase or restrict your data, to object, and to complain to the ICO. Just ask us.
